I doubt the actual design is the cause for the two different options. More likely produced on a different line and changes in design are to accommodate machinery.

from a design standpoint i think it would work if the contents of the left one were more spread out and the red filled up the top like the one on right. but why would sbux care what their slightly above minimum wage worker thinks lmao
