Looking for how others do it.

When on bar two, which in our store is cafe/mobile, do you pre-pull tickets and give preference to cafe customers, or do them in order?

Given that many of our mobiles come though drive-thru and I don't want to potentially affect drive-thru times I normally pull one at a time and make in order.

I'm in a non-drive thru store, so I guess our equivalent would be when there's one person on bar doing cafe and mobile's, in which case we usually go in the order we receive them

Yes. Have to go in order 😒 if it's possible someone can support you on bar like we do.

At drive thru I pull one ticket at a time always. If someone from mobile bar or cold bar is workin and helping I’ll pull their ticket and place it on the counter where the registers are for them to place it.

If I’m mobile bar/cafe bar I just pull everything and line it up on the counter. I usually prioritize cafe > mobile unless I know someone form mobile is in drive thru.

For everything my priorities go drive thru, cafe, then mobiles. If I’m on bar two and drive hands me a decaf drink or there’s a mobile coming through drive I make those first. If there’s people in the cafe I prioritize those even if the order was just placed and I have other mobiles (we typically don’t have a lot of cafe orders anyway). The idea is I know these people are here and waiting for their order while I have no idea when the mobiles will come to pick up. I’ll also prioritize mobile orders that are here in the cafe waiting. I typically pull maybe 6 stickers at a time bc that helps me sequence more easily. If it’s not busy and I know there’s not a lot of orders I’ll pull all the stickers so that I can knock them out as fast as possible. I don’t think we’re supposed to pull more than three stickers at a time but tbh I’m able to quickly and efficiently make drinks without cutting corners and sacrificing drink quality so I don’t think anyone’s gonna complain. This is what works for me, might not work for everyone.

We have separate people on mobile, cafe cold bar, and cafe hot bar
