We were made aware at my store that In august we will be required to wear masks again due to the delta variant, Starbucks is requiring masks, vaccinated or not.It will be on a weekly update coming up. Customers will not be required, showing that Starbucks will put money over the health of their partners. It’s about time we stand up as baristas against them until they change that.

It’s long past time we unionize. UFCW can help us do so so that we can actually make demands and use collective bargaining to our advantage.

In truth it's 'requiring' partners and 'requesting' customers to wear masks.
It's doubtful that we'll eject customers for refusing, ergo it's not a requirement for them..

Yeah because the CDC changed mask recommendations, partners have to wear masks. Customers only need to wear masks if the local municipality or the state institute mask mandates. It’s all a legal game tbh.
