Yes it does! You'll get all the recipes, motions, etc, down over time, and everything will gmstart to get a lot smoother. Also just remember to try to not stress out too much! Every mistake is fixable, and the worst thing that happens is someone waits a little longer for their drink. I felt the same way my first couple months and I've gotten much more comfortable (I've been working for the bux about 7 months now)

with practice, yes. & maybe ask your coworker how fast *they* were at CS when they were barely a month in? try not to take any stupid rudeness to heart, its just flipping starbucks. speed at cs & bar take time. there is a lot to this job & only repetition can help you memorize it. please remember you are doing your best, & It's Just Coffee. the world will keep turning.
i was trash for a solid 5 months as my shy little teenage self. one time someone ordered "drip brews" & i thought that meant pourover, & she was in drive thru. so don't i set up two venti dark pourovers. i can still remember the look my supervisor gave me. + the amount of times i forgot to brew coffee was so bad. cried a lot cause i was sure everyone hated me. but i made it, i think you can too!

Absolutely. It takes like 3 months to get comfortable. It all gets easier with repetition. Go easy on yourself! It’s no simple task to adapt to the Starbucks.

Yes it gets easier! I’d say most of the baristas at my store take 2-3 months until they start getting things down. You’ve got this!

hahaha no it doesn’t….my biggest advice tho is to go into every situation positive and proactive. you choose how you feel, not others
