What the current policy for getting a covid test? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by cinnamonmarigold
I know I could ask my SM, but I don’t wanna worry him since I’m one of our two opening shifts.

But, I feel I should probably get tested for covid. Would I have to quarantine until the results come back or no?

If you think you might have covid you should let your SM know. You can return to work with a negative test result.

Get your test and don’t worry about your SM being worried. Take care of yourself and protect your coworkers. Would be a hell of a lot worse if they had to close because everyone gets sick. As much as they (and yourself) want you to feel responsible for a successful opening, this is far more important. IMO of course :)

You no longer have to isolate waiting on test results. But if you have one primary, two secondary, ongoing close contact with someone confirmed positive or a positive test, you do. If you Google “Starbucks Covid Virtual Coach” you can take it from your cell and see what the outcome would be.

Not if you're vaccinated, unless local regulations say you do. At least that's what I just read.
