So today, my coworker rang up a dude in drive thru with a $40 order and wanted to pay using stars. The guy had 85,000 stars on his account. Is that even possible 🤔. The most ive seen was 4,000 but this guy blew that put of the water.

i saw some dude in the DT with like 35,000 stars and asked if he’s ever gonna use them. I guess with the starbucks chase credit card stars never expire but how someone could spend that much money on starbucks 🤷🏽‍♀️ beats me

I believe with that card you get points for all the money you spend on the card. Not just at Starbucks.

Yea, something like every $4 you spend gets you a star. Some things like gas and hotels are a star for every $2 spent. A lot of apartment complexes let you pay rent with a credit card and people use that to rack up miles, some people probably do the same with the starbucks card. And when you have the starbucks credit card, your stars don't expire.

What gets me though is the people who never use their stars...

Seriously! I’ll see that a customer has like 4,000 stars and I’ll tell them “hey it looks like you have a lot of stars, if you want you can redeem them and get your whole order for free!” and they always say no

Some customers may be saving stars for the holidays to buy co-workers, friends and family; Starbuck bagged coffee or Starbucks gift cards.

Had a lady who said she got the card (bonus 6,000 stars) and just used it to pay her rent and paid it right off after. I think it’s 3 stars for every dollar spent? So if rent is $1,000 that’s 3,000 stars per month.

That’s twenty normal drinks or sixty hot coffees/hot teas a month. So basically, you could get a drink a day off of that. Would save you a shit ton of money if you are a regular starbucks drinker.

It could be someone like me who did not know how to use stars until someone asked me if I wanted to use them. Now I use them all the time.

The Starbucks visa gets you a bunch more stars, plus they never expire so you can rack them up over time.

I work at an NYC store and most of the time when you see something like that it's a company card that gets automatically refilled to treat everyone in the office once or twice per day, so it racks up quick
