K: There's no toilet paper in your restroom.
M: Thanks for letting me know. I'll stock it up again after I take your order. What can I get for you?
*Orders VSCB and 2 H2Os.*
M: *Takes 1 minute to go to the BOH to restock on TP and grab keys for bathroom then walks back to the FOH*
K: I want a refund. I've been needing to go pee since I got here. You guys always have a goddamn problem in this store. Guess I have to call corporate about this stupid store again. We're [Corporate] best friends when it comes to dealing with you guys.
M: *Gives refund w/o giving a single fuck since customers have been rude to us all day today*
She literally was in the store for 2 minutes and threw a tantrum because she can't hold in her pee. You're a fucking adult! We're not the only fucking place in this lot that has a restroom! This bitch ass Karen always has something to complain about whenever she comes in. Dear lord, it took all the strength in my heart and soul to not go off on her. I'm really starting to lose my shit over these customers.

I really wish corporate would stop rewarding behavior like this. This is why a lot of people are leaving the Bux is because we’re not paid enough to be people’s punching bags. And corporate giving people free stuff for complaining is just rewarding this shitty-ass behavior.

So is it just me or have customers been getting so much ruder lately? It's so hard to deal with. Literally your story gives me the same vibes of so many of my stores customers 😭
Yesterday one lady made me so pissed I considered just yelling at her to shut the fuck up. Yikes. Im really always able to keep my cool, but lately things have been so bad, I just get so close to being pushed over the edge. We're understaffed, most Barista's on the floor are new and that only leaves like 2 maybe 3 experienced partners, and god damn customers are idiots. The amount of stupid, time wasting questions that are thrown at me on a daily basis is insane.
No wonder so many people are quitting. The benefits are great but I don't know how much longer free coffee and Spotify can justify the emotional abuse we face every day.
So yeah 🥺🥺 I feel you, hang in there. ♥️

Twice I had to remind my daughter in a Starbucks that Karentude is not acceptable.
Just not sure when it became socially acceptable to talk down to people like I have seen at Starbucks a few times.
Just know all of you are loved and that there are people who do care and are nice. And I’m sorry you have to deal with those people.
