Congrats! I suspect your orientation will be your first sip! You get to share a drink with your manager and talk about the company's history and values.
You should be getting a week of training (at least I was given a solid week of training). You'll be assigned a trainer (I had the same one through the whole training) and they'll walk you through different practices at the store. You'll also be doing training modules online through an ipad/laptop on site.
After training, you get thrown in to work!
Things I recommend for new people:
1) when ringing a customer up, always look how many pumps of different syrups/shots get put in different drinks. Especially when they don't modify it. At our store, those on register don't usually make drinks while at that station. I just recommend doing this because it can help you memorize for when you do make drinks.
2) ask questions! You'd rather annoy your coworker asking a question than annoy a customer, trust me. And most coworkers don't get annoyed, they've been new themselves.
3) let customers know you're new. Honestly I used 'im new sorry' to get customers off my back for a while.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'm only a few months in myself (4 months today!) but ill help as much as I can
