So I'm new and a few of my shifts and fellow baristas say that I'm doing well and that I'm doing really well on bar and I'm learning fast and they say it kind of often,,, I just wanna know if when/if this happens at your store, do u mean it, or just have really low standards lol
Edit: dont get me wrong it's a huge ego boost lol bc I feel like I suck bc I'm not super fast

I think they really mean it because I’ve seen green beans who still struggle after hours and hours of bar time

it takes time to get super fast, but that doesn't mean you're not good! i bet they mean it. some people really take to bar and it sounds like you're one of them!
