Hello! Recently just left the bucks and want to share my experience with my online community. I understand talking bad about a company after you've left can reflect badly but want to share my honest opinion of them since I worked there 6 years ( I don't just have bad things to say ). Do you guys have questions that are asked often as a Starbucks employee that you want to tell but can't because you still work there? Or are there just frequently asked questions in general?

What made you want to leave? How hard do they try to screw you when it comes to benefits?

Yeah, working there 5 years got me nothing but misery. Speak the truth, so people can really prepare themselves. I would not have taken the job had I known what was going to happen.
This includes injuries due to careless management, a manager telling us that a person dying or in the hospital won't get better if we're there, so we'd still have to show up for shifts. Witch hunts from a DM mad that a wrongful termination won in court, so he ruined the reputation of the partner's spouse even into other districts until they had to quit from the harassment.
Oh and them allowing customers to even assault us at times and then rewarding the customers bad behavior because they were mad.

Much better! I also avoid Starbucks now. I go to local places or whatever competitor is nearby. Where I work we give a lot of recommendations, so I send people elsewhere unless specifically asked to point them to a Starbucks. I don't actively trash them unless it's here or I'm pointedly asked about my time there.
