The gold plans for vision are amazing! I'd reccomend calling if you're unsure which one to choose though!

Call them. Plans are different in every state, the person who would best be able to advise you is the person whose job it is to answer that question. Especially as those drops could be covered by vision or general health insurance. Same with surgery, it could fall either way.

Additional advice: call the office that prescribes you and treats you. I straight up asked my dentist's office what plans she preferred to bill through out of the ones I could choose. They told me which plans were easier for them, which plans they won't accept, what they've heard people have issues/amazing experiences with, the whole 9 yards.
Keep in mind that their goal is maximum reimbursement too, so it might not always be the most cost effective plan for you. But as a chronically ill person I know how important keeping your care team can be!
