Im a new hire and was thrown on bar pretty instantly. I’ve learned fast but for the life of me I cannot remember what coffee, teas,CB, or frappe get classic or cane sugar plz help
Rant: I cannot handle my coworkers not cleaning up after themselves. What do we do about this. We had 3 ppl on bar (no assigned cold bar) and I went to make a Frappuccino and I had to put away SC, CB, juices, clean 3 tumblrs and 2 blenders before making a drink! So annoyed! And I’m new so I can’t tell more experienced baristas what to do but Jesus I can’t do that I wanted to scream

Ok so classic goes in matcha fraps and strawberry fraps, as well as iced coffee (unless specified). The only other thing that gets classic by default is the "iced shaken espresso" (only the regular, brown sugar oatmilk or chocolate almond milk dont) unless there's something I forgot about, that's all that gets classic
Liquid cane is only in royal English breakfast rea lattes by default these days. It is what we use to sweeten iced teas if they ask. That's pretty much all it's used for (once again, that I can remember at this exact moment)

US or Canada, because in the US classic goes in Iced Coffee by default.

The US! I always ask to make sure that it's sweetened tho, cause most aren't aware it does

The teas used to bring cane sugar syrup in the recipe (in the US) but they switched it out recently so you don’t put it, but if they asked for the tea to be sweetened then you use it. The only time you use it is for the Royal English Tea Latte. Classic syrup comes in the Iced Coffee, Matcha Frappe (not the Matcha Latte!!!) and Strawberry Creme frappe (US, idk if it’s different from Canada). Cold brew is just ice and Nitro Cold brew doesn’t have ice. You don’t put any syrup in there unless they want it sweetened or it’s a different recipe eg. Vanilla Sweet cream Cold Brew brings sweet cream and Vanilla Syrup. You should have recipe cards available in your store, they’re really helpful when it comes to learning recipes :)
Feel free to talk about your learning progress with your trainer or GM. Tell them that you need more time or ask them if you can help someone whose assigned to Cold Bar. You shouldn’t be feeling this stressed as a new hire. It takes time to pick up the pace even if your a fast learner. I hope this helped 👍

about your rant, TELL ME ABOUT IT!! my station is always super clean on cb so i’m working on being a lot more communicative about how people clean up after themselves.
