A tik tok got popular showing that we have the ingredients. And telling people when they are being released. The tik tok also showed the new syrup. Plus my store isn’t allowed to open the bottle yet

I had at least 15 people ask me for a salted caramel mocha yesterday and none of them understood that being out of toffee nut means we can’t make it. “I said salt and caramel and mocha why can’t you just make it I don’t want toffee nut I’m allergic to nuts” like ma’am, you ARE the nuts if you think I, who have been a barista for years, don’t know the recipe as well as you who also claims you ordered a unicorn frap last week.

It has launched in August for years now. Customers know we have it. We were told we can't even open it for partners early this year due to all the shortages. Some stores don't follow the rules.

I walked in for my shift today and noticed the signs saying "Pumpkin Spice is coming back soon".. That shits gonna be gone in a week. If even.

As a trainer, I hated when stores would start serving seasonal stuff before launch date. I need Ed the time between getting the ingredients and launch date to train everyone on the new beverages and have everyone signed off.

Serving early sets customers up for possible disappointment in the future.

In our store (UK) we are notorious for running out of promotional drinks well before the promotion is over. When i first started working at my store we only had and were able to sell pumpkin spice lattes for the 2 weeks before it actual launched (for gold members only), then we had a like 2 week long promotion for bubble gum fraps and we sold out within two days. Its literally like empty shelves in some kinda apocalypse or an episode of hoarders. Apperantly we kept ordering the stuff but they just wouldnt deliver it to us 🤔
