I like to pretend the grilled cheese doesn’t exist tbh

A few months ago, I chose violence, and cooked two grilled cheese at once.

Honestly it wasn’t even the oven! When I was moving the sandwich to the counter, I guess I moved to fast and the grease from the bacon on the paper just splattered all down my arm.

Got put on front immediately after that and not gonna lie it was a little hard to hold back tears as my arm was blistering and pour some lady their dark roast.

I haven’t done that quite yet! I finally took this contraption off my arm cause I couldn’t move my wrist and I got stuff to do. But safe to say my arm is deffs scarred and looks a little crispy too. Only two pretty bad parts, rest are just splatters of burnt skin lmao

Fuck. Chocolate croissant is horrific. It sticks :’)

I’m pretty good with it normally, but grease burns hit different I guess hahaha

Only one saw it, but only after it happened. No one really noticed honestly, they asked about it. I had to dig through our med bag and found some things to kinds cover it but no tape. Then I had to wear a glove, even though the burns are on my arm and not my hand

My condolences man. It’s so hard when you have to move so quickly, from what I remembered I had my left arm holding the oven open, and my right taking out the sandwich with the tongs. And I carried the sandwich and paper over my left arm and I guess the paper folded and all of the grease just splattered down. You’d think I’d work anywhere but a coffee shop with this 🙃
