If you’re at a corporate US store, the activity guides are loaded onto the ipads, under training resources. Your manager should have made you a training plan telling you which positions to focus on on given days - if they didn’t make you one you should ask them for it, or worse case scenario print one off the hub (under retail training > train a barista). The training plan will also be good to use as a checklist to keep track of what you’ve gone through.
Make sure to be welcoming and friendly to your trainee, you will represent the store/company to them for the first few weeks! Show them how to connect with customers in each position. Make sure to check for understanding before moving on. When you’re training on drive-thru (if you have one) make sure to give them time to run both DTO and DTR on their own while you observe/support, since they will be there on their own most of the time. Above all, make them feel comfortable and encouraged, let them know it’s okay to feel overwhelmed and have questions, even when they’re out of training!
Hope that helps, I’m sure you’ll do great!
