Do I need to bring my resume? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by black-sparkle
I have an interview this week and I don't know if I should bring a resume. I've never had a job before so I don't have any experience that I would put on a resume. I have some volunteer experience but I don't think it would be relevant to bring up in a starbucks interview. What should I do? Did you guys bring a resume to your interview? Thanks.

i brought a physical copy of my resume just in case. but my manager never asked for it during the interview, she just asked me questions and hired me on the spot lol. any experience you have that is relevant to the questions you should bring up! and if you don’t have any, well… just make it up.

For an interview I find it is always helpful to bring a physical copy of the resume. It looks professional, and if needed you can refer to a line on the resume as a conversation prompt. If asked about experience or skills on a resume, a visual reminder is really helpful. You got this! Good luck!

Bring it. Even if it doesn’t get used it looks more professional. Starbucks is a little more laid back so don’t go overboard, just a single page trifolded looks nice and neat.
