I did that while we had a newbie in and the trainer just kind of looked at me, looked at the line of cold cups in front of me, and just kind of sighed. She told me way back when I was training that technically we weren’t supposed to do it but what the other baristas don’t see won’t hurt them.

ahaha i’m a trainer as well and i always tell my green beans that officially i have to go by the book and we aren’t supposed to do more than one beverage at a time but if they “just happen” to find themselves on the bar with four tall mocha frapps during the middle of peak sometimes you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do

My store manager says that if you have two Frappuccinos that are exactly the same, go ahead and batch them.

im just saying if you happen to batch blend, you can save time by putting double the amount of frap roast in one cup and filling milk up to the top black line for two drinks…. it just happens to be the same as if you prepped two normal cups…

It’s because these corporate test kitchens have no clue how a store actually runs during a peak. They get put under no pressure. Have no sence of the real world
