Interviewed today & offered job on spot . SM said he would start the background check shortly after my interview and it can take up to a week. However, I was reading Reddit and have seen some baristas post about a background check email? I don’t believe he said anything about that? Will I receive an email to consent a BGC or do I receive one after it’s done? What’s the next steps?

You'll receive an email from “Accurate CS” to consent to it.
Then you'll have to just enter your SSN and your residency or something along those lines and you'll call them to confirm it.

How long does it usually take to receive that email? Shouldn’t I have got it by now? My interview was over by 10:30 this morning? 🤔

It took my sm a long time to send it and for mine to get approved, about 2 weeks in total. If you don’t get the email after a couple days you can always just call the store and ask to speak to the manager, as they likely just forgot.

I got mine 30 mins after my interview but I didn't see the email until I woke up the next morning (and I checked all night).
I know you might've already done these things but check your spam, search up “Accurate CS”, or make sure you're using the same email you applied with.
If it doesn't pop up by tomorrow night i would then contact the SM and ask (or wait until Monday, which is the office day just to make sure it's not on the way).
