This morning, I turned my two weeks in. My manager proceeded to break down and cry and ask why everyone was leaving. Then refused to understand what corporate was doing wrong even after I explained my issues

I’m sorry you had a clueless SM. But all the best for you in the future. It was kind of you to try to explain things to this SM, and I’m not insensitive to their pain but “don’t cast your pearls before swine.”

You have to do what’s best for you. I’m sorry your manager broke down. It’s not your fault. You are doing what is best for you.
