Nothing will happen. The system isn’t smart enough to block you from using your mark out twice. It’s all manual. If their SM is strict about mark outs they might be on their ass but I don’t think most stores look at those stats very closely. The only reason my SM looks at them is to make sure people are ringing in their food and drinks, she doesn’t care if that means you have multiple mark outs just that it’s accounted for in the system.

Don't worry, it won't lock her out. I think they should have fixed their error right away but it will have no reflection on that partner.

This oversight in marking out has also led many partners to feel comfortable sharing their numbers with friends and family so they can get 30% off too.

I remember a partner of mine going off on another partner and asking for ID (he was a jerk but he had dealt with someone lying about being a partner and repeatedly using the same numbers). It was a bit out of control lol

If you type in the numbers wrong it will keep the wrong name on your sticker. People have done this with my numbers and they void the markouts and type in my numbers and it still leaves the name wrong. I thing the coding in the POS just isn't that smart. You should be fine.

Most likely they did not use destiny’s numbers, it’s just since they put hers in first that’s the name left in the system. This happens occasionally at my store and it uses the correct partner numbers, it just doesn’t override the name already there, just like how if you type in a name and then scan someone’s app it keeps the name you typed

That’s funny because whenever a partner types in my numbers wrong it brings up someone named Destini (or Destiny?) 😂
