This guy wanted a venti shaken espresso with 4 pumps classic, breve with no ice. He got a 1/3 full venti iced cup of espresso and cream and that was apparently what he wanted. (self.starbucksbaristas)

He’ll most likely add ice before he’s ready to drink it. I have an espresso machine at home and take shots to work in my venti cup without ice. When I’m ready for my iced espresso, I add ice and I’m good to go. Btw, my espresso is much better. We buy beans imported from Italy. Sooooo good. ☕️

A much easier and less confusing way to order this would be a quad espresso with 4 pumps classic and a splash of cream. Ordering it this way makes us shake hot espresso and a little cold milk for no good reason

Did he want the espresso shaken w/ ice to cool it down first and then the espresso drained out of the shaker so no ice? That’s the only thing I can think of

whenever people try to order a shaken espresso without ice i tell them we can't do that because it's dangerous. the cold from ice is what suctions the shaker lid closed. hot does the opposite and it's like a hot espresso bomb if you shake it.
