It sounds like you need to add coffee maybe? A Caramel frappuccino, by default, should have coffee. I'm not sure of you're exact setup because you're licensed but I imagine you should have frapp roast, which is a pumpable liquid.
The coffee/creme base you're referencing does go into the frapps as well. But it's not really flavored. It's an emulsifier to improve texture. You would use the coffee version for frapps with coffee and the creme version for those without.

So I'm pretty new and may not be the best at explaining but there's 2 kinds of Fraps. Coffee base and creme base. The coffee frap gets 2/3/4 pumps of the coffee frap roast. Fill with milk to the bottom line. Add a scoop of ice, and same pumps of the frap base that says coffee. They also get the flavors into the blender.

The creme ones don't get frap roast. When someone asks coffee caramel frap. They mean just the regular caramel frap not the creme frap. The ones that are a brown color on the system. The creme ones are a white color. Does that help?

frappuccino’s are either cream or coffee based. coffee based ones get frapp roast and coffee frapp base while cream based ones get no frapp roast and cream base instead.

then think of frappuccino’s like any other drink. they can be modified from just being straight coffee and milk.

a coffee frappuccino is 2/3/4 pumps of frapp roast with whole milk to the first line then ice and base. every other frappuccino is just a variation upon this.

caramel ones get caramel syrup, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle.

mocha ones get mocha and whipped cream.

decaf frappuccino’s get 1/2/3 shots of espresso.

java chip/double chocolate chip (cream based version) ones get mocha, java chips, and mocha drizzle.

mocha cookie crumble is just a java chip one but with whip and mocha on the bottom and then cookie crumbles on top.

the caramel crunch is just a caramel one but with dark caramel instead, and whip/caramel on bottom and the caramel sugar pieces on top.

the strawberry funnel cake one gets funnel cake syrup, whip and strawberry purée on bottom, and the same on top with funnel cake pieces.

*all of those can be made with OR WITHOUT coffee*

the following are only cream based versions:

chai cream ones get 1/2/2 pumps of chai, whip, and cinnamon dolce sprinkles.

green tea ones get matcha scoops, classic syrup, and whip.

strawberry cream gets strawberry purée, classic syrup, and whip.
