What are these other stores doing!? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Maleficent_Video_281
So kinda got to rant and get advice. So recently in my town two stores have closed and which leaves two stores open, mine of course and another one. I’ve had partners from other stores come work at my store for the past few weeks, and I kid you not I’ve had problems with majority of them. I’m not saying my store crew is perfect but we do our job and still have fun. I have been running into issues like dress code, not wearing their mask properly, just talking about inappropriate stuff all day, and just not do ANYTHING. I feel like the times I close with any other partner from another store I end up having to do majority of the stuff along with my co workers from my own store. I just feel like my store has always followed rules and we still have fun but we get the job done cause at the end of the day we are trying to just leave! But I wonder how do these others stores run, like there’s no way I’d ever work at those stores they’re from.

I feel the same way! I got so lucky, my store is awesome and I love every single person here. Every partner we have is on their shit and great to work with. I’m moving soon and thinking about transferring but I don’t even think it’s worth it, I don’t think I would want to work at a Starbucks without this crew.

I feel like half the time borrowed partners are just trying to keep working for the paycheck without actually working. Sure they are at a new store and don’t know where everything is, but they know what needs to be done. Or at least should know. As a shift I’ve sent borrowed partners home if they don’t want to work.
