Old lady handed me this "secret recipe" and asked me to make it... what is this? I think it might be a Strawberries and Cream Frap but not sure (i.redd.it)

I saw this monstrosity on tiktok a while back from a target starbucks barista... she expects you to crush the dragon fruit from what I remember 😂 as for the drink, I’m lost. Maybe she’s coding “sweet cold foam” with purée, vanilla bean, and hazelnut?? I’m probably way off but there’s no way that will taste any good

For real!! I’m so glad I got out of there before the TikTok drinks really because popular. I had enough with the secret menu and when keto started poppin, the butter blended in coffee thing (which I refused). There is no way I would be smashing up dragon fruit to make this abomination.

Waaaaait a second! So in 2016, there was temporarily a huge rush on at the store I worked at for a drink called “The Pink Lady”, it was exactly this drink but they wanted toffee-nut syrup instead of Hazelnut! ... I will assume this is the drink they were going for, and it is in fact utterly disgusting.

yeah I've been trying to figure out what those two bottom parts are I figured the one is dragon I'm thinking the other MIGHT be matcha but I'm not entirely sure... I kept asking her to explain it more but she just kept saying it was a really good drink and it had no coffee and that the Starbucks down the street did it for her, I was like okay??? go get it from them🙃

It sounds like a variation of the old “crunchberries frappuccino,” which used to just be a strawberries & cream frap with hazelnut. Actually tasted like Captain Crunch crunchberries! The inclusion of vanilla bean is because vb is delicious and the crushed dragon fruit is probably just for effect.

It’s supposed to be a strawberry creme frappuccino, with vanilla bean and hazelnut. They want strawberry purée on the bottom and they want matcha on top of the whip on one side and they want crushed dragonfruit on another side. It’s the “harley quinn” frappuccino. It’s dumb but oh well

The VB with hazelnut is from the birthday drink from 2015. It also had strawberry whipped cream I believe but I’m not sure where the rest is coming from, but I think it’s based off of that one.

I would say that I can't make it just because of the crushed dragon fruit. There's no sanitary way for me to do that without taking up a lot of time.

I agree that we could refuse it, and I’d probably explain my method before doing it, but if they insisted, I’d grab a steaming pitcher or for here mug or even a plate from the cabinet and just smash away on some warming paper. I’d make a show of it, too. Think it’s gross? Yeah, don’t ask for it.
