I believe you can get fired for this so be careful lol

Nah i’ve never done it and never will. But I’m curious to hear if anyone else has

It isn’t just technically wrong, it’s against the rules period.

I'm very certain we saw a post just like this maybe 2 months ago at most lol

Yes you can get fired for doing this. No I would not recommend doing this. Besides, unless they changed it in the last 2 years, you have to spend money to earn stars so just scanning your app wouldn't do anything but get you into trouble

There’s a scan only option actually!
Jolly_Lie_9005 1 points 1y ago
It changed. There’s an option that says “scan only” and that allows you to choose what form of payment you’d like to do: cash, card, or app. But I believe this only lets you earn 1 star per dollar

Ooooh actually I think I remember hearing about that! My mistake

If you realize it’s a serious question, you know the answer. The stars were earned by the customer, and taking them without their permission is theft.

I meant serious question as in not a joke. I wanted to just hear others thoughts on it.

You’ve conveniently deleted your post and are now backtracking. Your post was asking if it was okay to steal customers stars if they didn’t claim them. I find it disturbing that the thought crossed your mind as acceptable and clever. It will catch up with you eventually.
