my store is pretty close to the shoreline, and we’re supposed to be getting hit with a hurricane tomorrow; as of right now, we’re staying open through it, but it’s supposed to last all day into monday and i’m kind of terrified to go in for my closing shift tomorrow. what do you think the odds are of us getting shut down?

Bro idk why they are staying open. Tell your SM that they should not plan on you being there and get yourself to a safe spot. Starbucks does not care if you get seriously injured or killed, and one shift isn't gonna kill the store. Get yourself to safety bro.

i’m not near the hurricane but if i were you i would tell your SM you don’t feel safe coming in and you should 100% be shut down for the safety of both partners and customers
