Gotta love that. So many people will come in and order then immediately go sit outside on the patio and expect us to bring it directly to them. Starbucks customers really have the biggest balls

Yesterday I had a guy pull up to the window; his drink wasn’t ready so we chatted for a minute, really cool laid back guy. The car behind him honked at us, so I apologized to the man, gave him his drink and he left. The honker pulled up and it’s a woman who looks about 60. Without looking at me, while on the phone, she says “sorry for honking, I’m just a very busy woman with places to go and people to meet. Where’s my drink? I’ve gotta go.” So I said, then why did you stop here? It’s 530pm on a Friday, we’re very busy as well.

She just looked at me and handed me her credit card, took her drink, and left. The next car asked me if the woman was rude to us as well because it turns out she had aggressively cut that car off to make it into the drive thru.

The point is, Starbucks is the McDonald’s of coffee and no one can convince me otherwise. People don’t see us humans, they think we’re just coffee machines and they don’t care about us because they know we have to be nice to them. I’m near my breaking point with this company and I’m sorry you or anyone else has to deal with the abuse or customers regularly give us

Last week, a single customer, kljust left her entire mess on the Cafe table. We had been so busy I didn't see it until like an hour after she left. She thanked me and my partner for the drink suggestion, but trashed the table. Like left her cup, the straw wrapper, the second straw she asked for ????, and an unfinished baby cup of whipped cream like??? Why did you ask for the pup cup for yourself and not touch it like ?????????? WHY DID YOU EXPECT ME TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOU AFTER YOU WERE Q DECENT HUMAN TO US EARLIER THAT DAY WHY

My favorite is when someone orders a drink right after calling an Uber and gets mad at us for taking too long bc their Uber is outside like excuse me Karen why tf didn’t you wait to get your drink first?

Or the man who ordered at reg and then when I turned around to fill a mobile coffee order he goes I didn’t order that I want a refresher and I’m like sir this isn’t your order and then he DOES THE SAMR THING TO THE BARISTA as if no one else was ordering in front of him??

That stinks. We have a few rude customers, but honestly most of our people are cool.
