I got my coworkers today by saying "change battery" in that woman's voice over the headset and everyone thought it was real- till they all saw each other taking off their headsets at the same time LMAO

Hbu, what happened at work today?

Rough but okay. Busy Saturday as usual but a few hiccups. Green Bean here left on hot bar alone with three Ubers and a line of drinks, customer burned their hand, had to go get coffee beans from the nearby other Starbucks. Run out of Oatmilk, Uber Driver got mad and demanded to see the manager.

One of those days.

it t’was yet another day where all of the baristas who can bar alone called off, and we were scheduled with just partners who have been here 4 months and have had 0 hours of bar AND both of our espresso machines were broke. one wasn’t pulling shots at all, the other pulled shots reallllly slow 🧚 i also had to bat alone for 7.5 hours since i was the only barista besides SSVs capable of holding down bar alone. i think it’s worth mentioning I have had to wear a knee brace on one side, compression sleeve on the other as well as compression sleeve on my ankle because of the ✨pain✨ even though not necessarily sbux related. n e ways i actually hate my job and might fuck around and quit

The store closest to mine is closed for remodel, so we got all of their business. One of our partners ((who wants to go for shift)) called out, because the ssv hurt her feelings, and it was nonstop for about five hours
