Someone took another customers food today and then that customer almost made me cry(self.starbucksbaristas)

So, this is a really weird situation I’m gonna try my best to explain.
I was on warming and I got two stickers for two plain bagels with cream cheese. Right after I finished making then my window partner comes over and asks for help with a customer. (I was the SSV, they didn’t speak English very well, I can usually help out in these situations.) I ask what the issue is and he says he wants to add a panini and a breakfast sandwich, he also keeps grabbing for the bagels in my hand, so I assume they’re his and I ask “did you u want those instead of the bagels or as well as the bagels?” He says he wants both. So I hand him the bagels and go make his add ons.
A few minutes pass and my DTO says “do you have those bagels ready?” And I’m confused because I don’t have any new stickers so I say “I already gave him those?” And she says “that guy that added on? Those weren’t his.” So now I’m confused but I go to grab more and we are out. I go the the window and explain my mistake and the guy at the window says “this is fucking ridiculous. I’ll take two cinnamon raisin bagels and DON’T warm them up.”
So I give those out, apologize, give him a recovery card, and move on. THEN, he comes inside, throws them on the counter and says “neither of these were toasted.” I say “I’m sorry, I thought you didn’t want them warmed.” He says, “what the hell gave you that idea?”
So as I’m warming them he walks over to warming and says “why don’t you throw in an everything bagel and a couple croissants for the inconvenience you caused me.”
I know this was my fault originally but it all happened so fast and he was so mean!! Literally the worst experience I’ve had in a while

Ughhh. That sucks and I’m sorry you had to deal with that. Something similar happened to me today, there was a new girl on register and she took two separate pour over orders during the same wave of a rush which?? In my year of working here has never happened, we rarely get orders for pour overs. Anyway, she got one started but apparently was confused about the second one and didn’t start it. The man for the second order came to bug me about it of course as I was on the other side of the store making whips, so I go back down to the other end and see a pour over in progress. I go back and tell him it’s like halfway done and he paces some more.
…..then we both see the new girl walk that pour over to some other guy. Then second guy raises hell and demands a manager, and then gets in our SSVs face about “not being a real manager”. After we got him his pour over he proceeded to sit in our cafe and read his newspaper until I don’t know when, he was still there when I left. The whole ordeal probably took 10 minutes while we were slammed and trying to do shift change and he was going to just sit there and vibe anyway???? God I hate people. The mantra I repeat to myself is, if they’re that upset about coffee that’s a them problem.
