I also work the city, people get mad at us for not having Splenda. So my shift had to buy a big box of them. We ran out of tall cold cups, short lids, recently we’ve been running out of strawberry açaí and lemonade.

We’ve been out of sf and reg. cinnamon dolce, toffee nut, hazelnut, peppermint, raspberry, Splenda, granulated sugar, peach, guava, green tea, sw and bacon sausage wraps and berry hibiscus. Other random outages over the last couple of weeks like oatmilk and almond milk. The really good one this week has been caramel drizzle. CARAMEL DRIZZLE. We had to start filling the bottles with dark caramel and then we ran out of that too😭 and NO ONE reads the signs we have posted at the registers and on the speaker box in the drive-thru with all of our outages

The worst so far has been losing mocha, grande iced cups, and cold brew

We’re out of all cake pops, RFT, RHS, all bagels, peach, guava, very berry, cinnamon dolce, toffee nut, hazelnut, raspberry, regular sugar packets, Splenda, lem, apple juice, mocha, caramel drizzle, sriracha, and dark caramel…. And that’s just what I can remember off the top of my head.

the ONLY syrups we have are vanilla, SF vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, funnel cake, classic, liquid cane, and now recently honey blend. there was a point where we were out of vanilla too and that caused chaos.

We're out of all kinds of stuff but I think the funniest one is that we're out of sugar packets. Like, it's just plain sugar how is there a shortage? But we're also out of double-smoked bacon breakfast sandwiches, cookie dough cake pops, a lot of syrups (I'm still fairly new and I can't tell what is temporarily gone and what is discontinued or seasonal), and we've had spotty supplies of strawberry acai and large dome lids.

It sucks rn but at least we have food again. There was a solid month where we only had bagels and even those ran out. We are out of all cake pops though🤕

idk EVERYTHING were out of, but ive only been working at my location for two or three weeks now and without fail EVERY SINGLE DAY someones asked for lemonade and weve literally never had it

And we have a really weird pastry shortage because they keep cycling lol. We also just got honey blend back in after several weeks without (but now no honey lol) and we briefly ran out of pike the other day.

We just got back green tea after not having it since March, I got one box of caramel sauce 2 weeks ago(it is as gone in 3 days because "let me get an ice white mocha with...😒), we just ran out of peppermint, both cinnamon dulces are gone, toffee nut is about to run out, pineapple is gone, both peach and guava juice have been gone a month, no bacon egg bites. Two weeks ago a brand new shipment of food came in while I was off for the day. I come back, it all had to be pitched, discounted, or given away because the freezer broke down. And the dude that was supposed to fix it totally fucked up the freezer turning it into a hot box that you can actually warm sandwiches in. I shit you not. The last time I looked at it, the temperature was 98.5 degrees.
*Edit*We also ran out of very berry and blackberries a while ago. Kiwi is still going strong. 😭

It's an attack against me.

So in December of 2020 I got covid.

3 months later, I got parosmia from it- basically my senses were jumbled and left everything smelling and tasting like burning rotting flesh.

So Starbucks!

I still had to work even though the smell of coffee (the ham and cheese panini 🤢🤢) made me want to vomit and put my head in the frap blender.

But one scent didn't change...
The cinnamon dolce.

So I literally survived the next two months on the cinnamon dolce and heavy cream. It was the only thing I could handle.

Then

THEN

We ran out.

But my tastes and smells were returning to normal. So I started drinking a french vanilla latte.

Hazelnut ran out.
That's fine. I'll use toffee nut.

NOPE
That's gone too.

So I started using dark caramel.
We ran out of that for a month.

So I started using just vanilla.

We were so out of that one that we started borrowing it from other stores.

So, we got in the apple syrup for the apple crisp macchiato.

So I thought!!! If I mix the apple... With something sour... Could I... Make a green apple drink??

So I did. I started drinking the star drink with three pumps of the apple syrup

Now I'm just drinking a basic ass latte with like two pumps of whatever syrup I can find and suffering 😩

We ran out of venti and grande iced cups for a week. no honey and splenda (obviously) but we have stevia😂

We had to call the cops over a man threatening us about not having splenda…

Syrup wise we only just got honey blend back, and are missing toffee nut, hazelnut, cinnamon dolce of course, peppermint, raspberry... there was one point last month where our store was down to classic and vanilla. Easiest time on bar I've ever had.
We also only have birthday cake pops, no cheese danishes, no butter crossoints, no sausage or southwest wraps, no plain organic horizon milk, no white sugar, no Splenda, no apple juice, obviously no peach or guava.... it's a mess.

I wish we had different signage that removed the discontinued/temporarily discontinued items. :/ And that we could somehow remove it from the drive thru screen.

Green tea for a while (got it back thankfully), just ran out of black tea, cinnamon dolce and sugar free cinnamon dolce, toffee nut, hazelnut, all wraps except spinach feta, sprouted grain bagels, all cake pops except birthday cake pops, chicken bacon and turkey pesto paninis. We were out of egg bites for a bit but we got them back last week.
