My worst nightmare

This is my first fall, I started in May. We also had our district manager here and some other corporate goons. My manager was on my ass about greeting customers (for some reason her picks on every little thing I do and he’s not like this with everyone) while I was on café bar (DT store). But he didn’t say anything to the other 10 baristas working. Then another partner felt the need to tell me how to do mark outs on DT 🥲
I want to go home. I want my dog.

dto has been the least stressful part of my shift today ahahhahah (like i got put on solo bar from 11-1 so i was just deteriorating)

Lol no one in my district got their milk or pastry orders this week, so everyone in town is out of Fall Food! What a shit show it has been!

I’m off today, but my manager had me make extra sweet cream in preparation for today’s launch, especially with the pumpkin cream cold brew. We asked her if it was really necessary (i’m new) and she looked at me with crazed wide eyes and said that they would absolutely need it.

All of our water stopped working during peak for over an hour, so I guess we kinda got off scot-free

Welp, idk what happened, but we ran out of cold brew at 7 am, Rip pccfcb

We ran out of coldbrew by 10am looool DPI missed a delivery and we got screwed (and heavy cream)

I got screamed at by a woman actually named Karen today during a rush. Sooooo...🙃🎃😂

All these comments makes me wanna reach out to a bunch of people from my store and ask if they're okay 😭

so everyone else is struggling too? our store had callouts all morning, shut down cafe, lost a bar, dto has been nonstop, and we don’t have enough cold brew to keep up…

Lmao my store isn’t even open today due to a majority of our SSVs and partners having to isolate.

They stuck my poor coworker who already gets nervous on drive thru on both DTO and DTR and I felt so bad for her 🥺 I took over the second half of the day and it wasn’t too bad other than people asking for cold brew every couple of minutes and me having to tell them we’re out

I was there 6-2:30 and had to train someone on espresso bar

ran out of cold brew (definitely under-ordered last week, small krobux kiosk problems lol) and only got 1/4 of the merch i was supposed to (once again, just krobux things?) AND had inventory at the same time so i had to come in a 3am today. we’re vibing tho :’)

I had to make one while the DM was in quizzing the green bean and our trainer on how the new drinks are supposed to be made. I root for my people even though I'm mostly on GM duty(Target). But when in Tarbucks I tried to be as "barista" as possible. I used my professional voice while she's there and she thinks I'm a saint. 🤣 Damn green bean bout eff'd it up for everybody cuz she got nervous while making the apple crisp latte crap. She pulled the shot out of sequence and the DM had her make it over but before she did, she asked her one of the simplest questions we have. How long is a shot good for? She said 3 seconds. 😭 I was trying my hardest to project to answer to her I swear.😂 It's gonna be a long Fall...also, we sold out of pink stud cups in less than 5 hours.

The DTO barista was upselling the new fall drinks for who knows what reason this morning and mentioned the Apple Crisp Macchiato and this old lady was like, "'Apple..CRISP?!'"

we had a 4 partner play today due to call outs and isolation, had to close our lobby and turned off mobiles and we still couldn't keep up

We only had two cold brew kegs today. ✌️

First day back from vacation and we were three people down. I wanted to die. We ended up shutting off mobiles and closing our cafe after about 10:30 because we were down to 4 partners when we normally have 8 and had breaks to run
