I didnt mind red cup day last year because my SM booked me in literally to just hand out the cups to POS customers. Best job in the house

I don’t think they would it do it on a Sunday. Last year it was November 6th which was a Friday so this year it may be the first Friday of November again

What is red cup day

In the past Starbucks makes red (sometimes with winter/holiday/christmas designs, sometimes plainish) plastic cups just like those white $2-and-change ones that are sold by the registers and they get given out for free to people who purchase a holiday beverage while the store has stock. Some stores will run out in like two hours, some will last the day. Usually there's like a 50c discount if you bring it back in and buy a holiday beverage in it.
Who knows if they're doing it this year with covid though. I'm not surprised we still had it last year- it was probably already planned- but I'd call it a coinflip this year. I don't know if corporate is compassionate enough to think about the extra stress in a pandemic, but the supply lines still seem to be struggling.
