Too many partners (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by painfuldisposition
Hi guys, so I recently transferred back to my home store I got hired in, in my college town. My town is sort of small with a lot of college kids bc it’s a big university. I am getting 10 hours a week because there are now almost 60 partners. I just got back, and I want to stick it out, but I could get hired a small coffee shop making more tips and getting more hours. Is it fair that I leave even thought I just got back? Should I try and stick it out for longer?

You don't owe Starbucks anything - do what's best for you

You don't owe Starbucks anything. They would replace you at the drop of a hat with no second thought or hesitation. If you are not getting what you need from there and have a better opportunity elsewhere, go! 100% bro go! The only feasible issue with leaving would be if you are doing college through them. Bro, you are getting an opportunity I wish I had. Go. Don't let this pass you by.

i’m actually not! my dad actually pays for my tuition because education is one of his core values. me leaving could open up a spot for someone to do college through them. i rly think i’m going to leave !!! thank you i rly needed reassurance
