Only been here for 3 weeks and i’m so over it. Turning my two weeks in tomorrow.
3 weeks and I haven’t even been fully trained yet. I only know CS and bar, and I will never be fully trained because my manager seems to like to schedule my trainer and I at different times.
3 weeks and they have me solo-barring during peak. The entire cafe is full, line out the door, and half-a-mile long drive through line, making every single drink by myself. This turns me into the human punching bag for customers. I will not tolerate personal comments towards me and abuse from customers.
I can’t do this anymore. I’m seriously done with humanity I can’t believe people are raised to act like this to other people.

Wow it sounds like your staff team sucks, a lot of baristas here are planning on quitting, Starbucks just sucks

My store has lost a lot of good people because of this, and I worry my green beans I trained feel the same way. I hardly get to work with them.

I recently worked at Starbucks for a week and a half and then quit over the phone without giving two weeks notice bc I hated it so much. I’ve never quit a job before without giving any notice but the manager told me he understood and he didn’t seem mad. Honestly no job is worth your sanity especially not at a huge chain like Starbucks.
