I know exactly how you feel ;(. I’m about a month in since I’ve started working here and I definitely feel comfortable with mostly everything EXCEPT bar, especially drive-thru bar as it’s super stressful. I just can’t seem to get sequencing down correctly and I feel so bad for holding everyone up

Go slow to start, there are a lot of things this applies to, but the saying slow is smooth and smooth is fast is very accurate for being on bar. As a shift I would rather see new partners make one drink correctly in double the time than have two half assed drinks made super fast while making a mess. Make sure you are sequencing each individual drink properly. Once you get used to the patterns of the drinks (shots, pumps, builds, etc.) is when you get comfortable enough to really put dedicated effort into sequencing multiple drinks. Remember its only coffee, it isn't life or death, so while you are still new you will drown on bar for a while, but practicing is what makes you better.
Make sure you are telling your support when items are getting low. It won't be possible for you to ever sequence anything if you are constantly running out of stuff, but when things are empty it is too late and creates even more pressure on everyone. When things get low is when they should be stocked.
Either on an ipad (the Store Resources app on there)or using the physical cards, look up beverage recipes that you are weak or don't know and follow the steps to practice, and either give or throw away the practice drinks.
You aren't bugging people by asking for supplies on bar, or moving around people, you are literally doing the thing that the store is made for. All the talk of connection scores, DT times, cleaning, all that other stuff is only to support bar partners making drinks, so do what you have to do. The other people are the ones who need to adapt to that and how you do it.

You’re gonna feel like you’re bugging people because bar is a hectic area. That doesn’t actually mean that people are bothered though, i promise. You get used to bumping into each other and trying to stay out of each other’s way.
As far as tips, I say don’t be afraid to look at the recipes on the pos system and if you have down time just practice. Always clean your area, i personally clean everyone’s space for them and they appreciate that. Never dump someone’s blender that’s just sitting there (that would be annoying), ask before you dump it.
