Need advice my store is closed in my second week working? (self.starbucksbaristas)

We closed tuesday because of fruit flies at 8:30am. I worked my shift til 1:15 just cleaning. SM is on vacation and ASM told us we can work at other locations or just take a day off no pay. ASM also said we can’t get paid for our shifts staying home because they had closed early too many times in the past however many days so they’re no longer sending people home with pay. I transferred here from a licensed store for better pay and more hours. Now, I’ve got less hours and about 60c more hourly, and I’ve got a closed store. ASM said we’re closed today (Thursday) also. I asked in our groupchat if that means we reopen tomorrow on Friday. No answer. Called the store, no answer. Called the ASM no answer. What do I even do? Is there someone higher up to call??? There’s no communication right now and I have a shift in less than 24 hours.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that. From what I quickly gathered, you’ll want to contact your DM, if possible. It definitely seems they need to have more answers and that there needs to be clear communication to partners.

We’re closed again tomorrow less than 24 hr notice before my shift I can’t bruh
