callouts throughout the morning so it was a shitty start. I come in when peak is about to hit with only 3 people on the floor, 1 goes off for her first 10 since 5 AM. I have ~8~ mobiles already lined up for me, 6 cafe orders and i don’t even know how many fucking drive thru tickets. I’m trying to be as patient and polite as possible, I try to be understanding and make drinks as fast as humanly possible. I try to be kind despite the line of rude fucking customers huffing and puffing that their 5+ customized drinks won’t be out in 3 seconds. this senile old bitch comes up to the register sticking his phone in our fucking faces “uBeRRRRR”. So I stop making the 5 drinks I’m trying to finish all at once and let him know that we’re super understaffed and it’s gonna be a bit of a wait. After about 10 minutes when he finally gets his bullshit Uber order, he proceeds to yell at me across the lobby calling me a liar because there was another Uber eats order packaged and ready to go that he ASSUMED was his, he just thought I was hiding it to be rude 🤠
