Anybody else’s store really going through it rn?? In the past month or two we’ve had 5+ partners leave to attend school so we were already hurting for staff.
In the past week we’ve lost two more partners with no notice + another out with possible COVID (all of them usually working 20-35 hours). A customer started a fire in our bathroom, managing to set our trash can & TOILET on fire with a Molotov cocktail they made out of mainly toilet paper and whiskey. Drive thru card reader broken more often than not.
I used to love my store but I’ve been feeling so burnt out. It’s gotten to the point where one of my favorite regulars has been commenting about how I need a day off 😕

i’m getting close 🥲 this week has been so bad for our store i’m pretty sure the only way we’ve gotten through it is being able to laugh about it

The one that my friend works at had to install blue lights and take away the baby changing stations because heroin junkies were such a problem there. Didn’t believe him until I worked a shift at his store. He was right.
