If your time off was approved in the system they cannot schedule you against approved time off. It won't allow it unless the time off was canceled in the partner hours app.
Did you ever submit the time off in the app? Honestly never take a verbal agreement from anyone that includes management. They have so much going on that they end up forgetting, so make sure you get everything submitted in the app for time off requests and availability, so if you do complain about them scheduling against your availability there is a paper trail.

I don’t think you’ll be fired for needing the time off, especially since it got approved by management prior (and even more prior in your interview….). That being said, Starbucks does have something in the partner book that says if your availability doesn’t work for them, they can terminate you. It sucks. I’m also in school, I’m “available” every day, but most are 5-cl, similar to you. Depending on your school program length, you might be able to go on LOA. If school is something you mentioned in the interview, I 100% think you’d be fine, but 3 days a week 5-cl is *really* hard to work with.
