I was told when doing onboarding that water resistant shoes are recommended. Totally understandable, but she mentioned that the shoes needs to protect against hot water “boiling water” any recommendations?
P.S my hiring manager noted if I can feel water spilling on the shoes I have “if there was a spill” I’d be burnt if it was boiling.

They just mean no canvas shoes.

I wear Sketchers :) they make work safe ones that are slip resistant and they have updated a lot of their styles, they’re super comfy and I have hardly any pain after an 8-9 hour shift. And I’m pretty sure all Starbucks partners get 30% of sketchers nation wide!

i second the work crocs. make sure they’re the bistro style (slip resistant) (might be one other style but that’s what i have) bc regular crocs will have you slippin & slidin all over the mf place
