Question about tips. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi! Sorry this is probably a stupid question but I was wondering do tips add up if I don’t happen to pick them up the same week they went out? Cuz I have been busy and I haven’t been able to pick up my tips this week and I was wondering if they roll over and add on to it or if they take it away. Sorry if this is stupid I was just curious.

I collect mine at the end of the month, they roll over until you collect them

I’m confused. How do you collect tips? I’m relatively new and I’ve never heard anything about tips

At my store they collect all tips at the end of the week and add them up like based off your hours and hand it out evenly. It’s in our safe and I would assume the same everywhere else
