Unfairly written up. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by ForbyBunny
I feel I have been unfairly written up in order to keep me from moving forwards in my career in Starbucks. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? Other then leave. I don’t want to go into to much detail for fear of losing my job.

If you feel like you were unfairly written up in order to prevent promotion, contact Ethics and Compliance. If nothing else, it’ll open a case against your manager and make it more difficult to actually retaliate against you. Just make sure to keep your nose extra clean and keep a low profile.

Give us the juicy details, what were you written up for. Tell us. Do it.

Could go to DM, if they like you. Pull up partner handbook to see if your write up is legit. Idk what else. GL tho.

I don’t think the DM will do much. Even though my manager is awful to the staff and the customers. They make the right numbers and that’s all upper management seems to care about. If I go straight to PR I know I’ll get fired. My manager likes to retaliate against things like that.

Quit or transfer, honestly write ups only affect your promotion if the SM cares enough about it.

Appeal with pcc. I got a write up removed that way.
