So sick of working threadbare shifts with not enough people, then getting yelled at/blamed the whole time for not being fast enough/getting enough done.
Whats the deal? Why can't you at least schedule enough people per shift?!?!

Former SM here: usually SM’s are given a certain amount of hours to use per week. If you go over those hours often enough, you get fired. The labor targets/goals are not something an SM has control over; they just have to make it work.

i’m not sure what’s going on at your store, but we’re <50% staffed and our SM has extra hours to give so she’s been looking for new hires. she got 5 green beans and now crickets, i think people are catching onto how busy it always is & how customers treat us, how corporate *really* is and they don’t want to work here tbh
