Im so tired of the type of people that go to Starbucks.(self.starbucksbaristas)

Why does Starbucks attract some of the most entitled people? I’ve gotten yelled at before, money thrown at me, cussed at; this isn’t my first job. Though at the other jobs there were so many nicer people. These people may have not thrown things at me or cussed me out, but the way they smirk the way they boss me around while I’m on bar alone making 15 other drinks. It’s definitely much more less aggressive but it’s just much more of the consistent attitude that’s driving me up a wall. At other jobs it was at least just a couple of people but here? Nah.

It’s the illusion of being better than other cheap, low quality places making people feel better about themselves. Like dunkin’ ain’t the fanciest, but if you drink starbucks, you must know what you’re talking about when it comes to coffee, compounded with the fact most baristas are more knowledgeable about coffee and younger than the target audience, it’s just shitty people being shitty because they are shitty. Old people can’t handle being told no or corrected ever.

Friends ask me every week how many Karens I have to deal with on the daily, and I always tell them that the worst part is that is WORST PEOPLE come nearly EVERY DAY. The entitled ladies (and a handful of old dudes) who think we exist to serve them and only them… it’s pathetic. I’m starting to get paranoid that these selfish, entitled people are surrounding me wherever I go
