disrespectful nagging ssv.. trenta rant (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by FarTie8802
one of the ssvs at my store does not respect my time whatsoever. on multiple occasions she will have me do a trash run when my shift is just shy of 2 minutes left. what is so wrong about at least 10 mins notice for trash? trash can take me up to 15 minutes if a run isnt done midday and i leave by 2. ADDITIONALLY, i was on dt and they had a fairly new green bean on dt bar, which would be fine if she would listen to people telling her to sequence, or if she would listen at all. so she is the one ultimately affecting my dt times and im
the one getting blamed for it. i said to my ssv "if i see that she is making the drink i need i'm not going to tell her i need it again, i cant just nag her" and she says "oh but you can hahahah." how would you feel if somebody was saying "caramel macchiato at window" when you're literally drizzling the caramel on? the emphasis put on drive through times is so overly exaggerated to me, especially at a high vol store like mine. from opening until like 7 pm we have a line wrapped around the building and customers complain of a 30 minute wait most days. it's not my fault when somebody has a $60 order or they're adding an iced quad or a blonde roast at window.

A lot of my ssvs nag at me when I'm in the window because I'm not making customer connections, little do they know I am, but the person that is there is on the phone or has their window rolled up, I'm not gonna be that bitch.
