We were so short handed this weekend I honestly just stood there and wondered what would happen if I just walked out. I was running the shift.

I concluded that the other shift that was there would have stayed and closed even though he was off at 6 so I stayed. We ended up closing early after I texted our manager when the entire store was imploding that we were in an impossible situation and neeed to close early.

My whole district is short 50 baristas so a few partners from my store got moved around to other locations to help those stores that are understaffed. We used to close at 9. Now we close at 2.
