I’m a canadian partner on a medical LOA for mental health reasons. I was told by a manager that I could apply for Short Term Disability pay but the LOA team just told me that it needs to be 112 calendar days since my LOA began to be eligible for STD pay.
How the FUCK am I supposed to be on an LOA for mental health reasons without any source of income????? How am I supposed to heal when I have no money? Can someone please help me? Do I have any other options??
