I recently transferred to a new store. It was the end of my first week and I got the WORST headache of my life, a fever, and felt like trash. Got covid-coached, drove around looking for a test, and couldn’t find one. I went to urgent care, they tested me, and I was negative. I joyfully texted my boss the news, and told her I’d see her the next day. Hours later I felt worse, so I went to a different urgent care who did a PCR test on me. Positive. Had to call my boss and be like “so actually sike I have covid im sorry”
all on my first week. so much for good first impressions.
stay safe yall, and p.s, Starbucks insurance doesn’t cover 2 covid tests in a row. Rip my bank account

I’m pretty sure that covid tests are free for everybody?? Unless that’s been changed. You shouldn’t be charged

I was charged initially when I had to get a test a while ago. But was later refunded. It’s an Urgent care thing it’s dumb but yeah.

Walgreens sells the at home tests for $20 for 2 tests. It’s cheaper than paying the insane amount if you don’t have insurance and have to go to a private clinic.

my insurance says they only let you get 1. Which makes no sense bc, pandemic ya know
