I either remake it for them or if I know for a fact they didn’t/they’re a problem customer I’ll refund them and ring them up for the right size

I tell them we only charged for a grande, it must have been a miscommunication. Most take it, Oh Well, because they haven’t been charged for a venti. Some will insist and then have to get a refund and pay. It’s a pita but I’m not giving a free upsize

If it seems like a genuine mistake I’ll just remake it. However my store has a few repeat offenders of ordering a tall, confirming they want a TALL several times, and then play the “ohh i wanted a venti! silly me” card at handoff/window and we’ll make them pay the difference
