Do what you have to do and take care of your mom. Yes it will feel shitty to call out but in the end it’s just Starbucks, it’s not the end of the world. Sucks for the manager but 🤷 I’d just be honest with them about the whole situation as much as possible and if they’re reasonable they’ll understand.
